Don and Barry braved the cold today for a few hours. Fishing was a bit tough with the wind and cold temps but we were still able to find some fish to play.

Chris and Paula hit the water with me yesterday for a half day trip on the Muskegon River. Fishing was a bit slow to start off and their was a bit of slush coming down the river, but as the day warmed up so did the fishing. Alec and Brian joined me today in the Muskegon River for some fantastic winter steelhead fishing. The river was a bit crowded today but it didn't seem to slow down the fishing. Alec and Brian were able to hook double digits today despite the high sun and extra boats on the river. Skipper Brian! Brian's first steelhead ever wasn't the biggest but it was his first none the less. Brian started the day with a flury of skippers to get his skills up to snuff. Alec with his first of the day! Brian with a nice hen. Despite the sun it was not warm out today. Alec with one of his many nice fish from today! Fished with Scott from Pine Hills Kennels and Sportmans Club yesterday. Fishing in the concrete jungle was awesome. Below are just a few pictures of Scott's double digit day. |
